Covenant Athletics help to develop the player as a whole person. Using athletics and the team concept helps athletes to develop their lives as Christians, allows them the opportunity to learn to work with others, and encourages them to live a healthy life. Covenant team sports allow the athlete to bridge the concept of using his/her strengths while working with others to obtain a goal. One important life lesson that athletics can provide is that the Christian life is about the journey as well as the destination.
The Lady Cougar Volleyball team is committed to this goal and allows Middle and High School girls to use their athletic abilities for the glory of God. The 2009 Junior Varsity and Varsity Lady Cougar Volleyball teams are coached by Mrs. Wendy Cline. |
