The Early Childhood music program exposes students to various musical styles such as traditional children’s songs, classical compositions and new original pieces. In General Music the foundation for reading and understanding music is laid. Music History is also another area of focus. Students learn about the time periods in which some of the greatest composers lived. Students are introduced to the percussion, woodwind, brass, and string instruments. As students progress through their musical journey they gain confidence to sing and play in groups and individually. |
