Employment at Covenant Christian Academy
Covenant Christian Academy's mission is to educate, evangelize and equip young people to become life changers for Christ. In order to fulfill this mission we believe that the school and the parents should partner together to assist each child in discovering their God given talents and gifts needed to fulfill His calling upon their life. Covenant prides itself in saying, "We're more than a school, we're family!" The relationships that are built between the faculty, families of the school and the student body are one of the things that makes Covenant so unique.
Covenant seeks to prepare our young people for success through challenging academic studies, extra-curricular activities involving ministry and mission opportunities, service to the community, fine arts, and competitive athletic programs. It is our desire for every student who graduates from Covenant to have a solid Biblical worldview, be firm in their relationship with Christ and equipped to take a place of leadership in their community and the world. For this reason, each of our faculty and staff members realize that God has called them to be a part of Covenant's ministry and they daily accept the awesome task of helping families train up their children.
When Covenant selects faculty and staff members, there are several characteristics that are considered:
- Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior
- Love for children and teaching as their ministry to God
- Credentials and qualifications necessary for the position
