Students at Covenant have the opportunity to study an instrument of their choice beginning in the 5th or 6th grade. Training toward instrumental mastery and musicianship continue through the Beginning, Intermediate and High School levels for credit. Students may expand their musical opportunities in extra-curricular opportunities including ensembles including the Cougar Pulse Drum Line, Middle and High School Praise Bands and Pep Band. The school provides opportunities for performance in school, ministry, festival and extracurricular settings. Those who concentrate in the Fine Arts may receive an academic letter and with those who participate for the entire four years or receive four credits at the high school level receive a Fine Arts cord at graduation. The design of instrumental classes at Covenant provide a challenging environment in which students experience ongoing musical development and excel in instrumental performance.
