Covenant Athletics help to develop the player as a whole person.  Using athletics and the team concept helps athletes to develop their lives as Christians, allows them the opportunity to learn to work with others, and encourages them to live a healthy life.  Covenant team sports allow the athlete to bridge the concept of using his/her strengths while working with others to obtain a goal.  One important life lesson that athletics can provide is that the Christian life is about the journey as well as the destination.

The Cougar Basketball team is committed to this goal and allows Middle and High School boys to use their athletic abilities for the glory of God.  The 2007-2008 Varsity Cougar Basketball team is coached by Mr. Wayne Reid and the Junior Varsity team is coached by Mr. Dave Farmer.

Above all else, we will strive to glorify God in all that we do.  It is only through Him that we have the ability to play and to coach.
